What are the entry requirements?

The learner should be:

18 years of age and over
Have a minimum of 3 O levels, or equivalent or a Nurse Aide certificate from a recognized institute
Have basic computer skills
Have sound Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills

To complete your course, you will need ongoing access to the following:

Computer/laptop with relevant software such as, but not limited to, the following:

Internet access with a 4g connection or better
Word processing application on your device e.g. Microsoft office or WPS

Mandatory Vocational Placement

Learners are required to undertake a minimum of 240 hours of vocational placement within a registered and approved aged care centre. This must occur after the student has satisfactorily completed all the other units/subjects in this qualification.
